Drydocks World, the leading service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors sponsored the flagship golf event the Omega Dubai Desert Classic (ODDC) from February 2nd-5th 2017.
Sergio Garcia won his 12th win on the European Tour at ODDC and Drydocks World is proud to be supporting a tournament in line with the yard’s commitment to UAE sporting activities.
The ODDC tournament is a highly anticipated event on the European Tour, posing as an excellent venue for Drydocks World to connect with employees and clients, while endorsing Dubai’s position as a major trading, business and tourism destination.
Drydocks World in partnership with Braemar Technical Services held a Marine, Energy Construction & Repair Yard course in the hospitality chalet, which provided delegates with first-hand experience of complex, large scale, construction and repair yard activities dealing with offshore units and merchant vessels.
Delegates, staff and clients thoroughly enjoyed watching the world’s best golfers in the tournament, and Drydocks World is pleased to extend their corporate support to a global sporting event that showcases the Emirates to a worldwide audience.
